Urs Bamert started his professional career with the State Bank of Zurich in 1978. He served in the foreign service as a Secretary to the Swiss Embassies in Paris and Tokyo for 5 years. The following 10 years he spent with Union Bank of Switzerland UBS in Zurich, Toronto and Zug. He concluded his career with UBS as a First Vice President and local Deputy Head of Private Banking.He then worked for a large European bank and managed their private banking branch in Zug before founding his own business in 2002. He finished his secondary studies with a postgraduate Diploma in banking from the Swiss Banking School Zurich.
